The North East Underground Car Park, (NECP), associated PMS Station and surrounding infrastructure located in Education City in Al-Rayan area, Qatar. The Khalifa International Stadium is the first proposed host venue for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar with 48,000 seating capacity with innovative cooling technology to keep spectators and players alike comfortable throughout the year. Audience will enter an open-air stadium cooled to optimal conditions, utilizing cooling technology which employs up to 40 per cent less energy than conventional systems provided by a dedicated Energy Center. Mesaieed Power Plant is the Qatar’s third independent integrated water and power plant (IWPP) with a capacity of 2,000 megawatts located in the Mesaieed Industrial City, Qatar. Qatar Factory designed and provided the following fire protection systems for the protection 3 cooling tower blocks each having 11 cells total of 33 cells.
The New MOI HQ premises spread over 100,000sqm and consist of three buildings with a total floor area of 245,000sqm. The building is an “integrated security architecture” and its design was compatible with a vision that combined Islamic, modern and classic architecture – further adding to the aesthetics of Doha city. The new Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) – part of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) – focuses on delivering outpatient and day surgery services in Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City. The facility is equipped with 66 beds – 12 pre-operation bed spaces and 54 post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) recovery beds and in addition there is 14 operating theaters. The 33,400-square-meter ACC offers urology, podiatry, gastroenterology, otolaryngology, audiology and ophthalmology services. It also houses a pre-assessment clinic where patients undergo a thorough medical evaluation to ensure readiness for surgery. The Women’s Wellness and Research Center (WWRC) is a specialist hub for women's health services with capacity for up to 15,000 births per year. This facility is the largest women’s tertiary hospital in the country and equipped with a large emergency department with an expanded visitor waiting area, seven operating theatres, 26 delivery rooms, 240 private inpatient rooms with bathrooms and a number of specialized outpatient clinics for obstetrics and gynecology. In addition, the WWRC has 112 NICU cots for the care of critically ill newborns. The Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) is located in Gharafat al Rayyan, on the Dukhan Highway in Doha, Qatar. The convention centre is a member of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. QNCC features a conference hall of 4,000 seats theatre style, a 2,300-seat theatre, three auditoria and a total of 52 flexible meetings rooms to accommodate a wide range of events. It also houses 40,000 square metres of exhibition space over nine halls, and is adaptable to seat 10,000 for a conference or banquet. Doha North STP facility is located in Umm Slal Ali, 25km north of Doha. The project includes the construction of the main treatment plant for the reception and treatment of sewage, which has been designed to treat up to 245,000 cubic metres of sewage per day, serving a projected population of over 900,000 people by the year 2020. The modern facility features advanced biological treatment processes as well as ultra-filtration, which is an ultra-membrane filtration technique that separates large molecules and small granules from the water. The MEEZA Vault 2 (MV-2), project in Al Dayyen municipality north of Doha, consists of a 10,000m² data centre providing 3,000 m² of white space and will be the first Up-Time accredited data centre in the Middle East, with a Tier III certification. The Meeza Data Center project comprises Data Halls with supporting mechanical and electrical plant areas to the east, west and south, together with ancillary and office areas. There is covered parking for staff and visitors adjacent to the offices providing shade for parked cars and pedestrian access as well as providing a clear visual main ‘front of house’ entrance to the building.
